Welcome to 4th Grade!!
Math, Science, & Social Studies
My name is Debra Kurten. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I could not be happier to have you and your child as a part of this amazing journey. This is going to be a very rewarding and exciting year full of learning, adventures, and innovative experiences.
With this being said here’s a little bit about me. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Eat’em up Kats! This is my third year at Williams Elementary and I look forward to all this year has in store. I was born and raised in Magnolia and my husband and I love being able to call it home. We welcomed our daughter, Madilyne, last July and could not be more proud of our baby girl. I enjoy being outside working in the yard, spending time with family and friends, and I love being a teacher. I have the most amazing and rewarding job, I never stop learning and growing!
