Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! This is my 13th year in education, yet my first year in Magnolia ISD. I am originally from CA, where I received my Bachelors degree in Hutchins' School of Liberal Studies at Sonoma State University. While in CA, I taught general and special education for grades pre-k through first grade for six years.
After marrying my husband in 2007, we moved to Denver, CO, and I taught first and third grade for six years at a wonderful charter school in Parker, CO. While in CO, we had two beautiful children, Madison (10) and Charles (9). In 2013, my husband had the chance to move to TX, which afforded us the wonderful opportunity of me becoming a stay at home mommy for six years. We are so glad we made that move! Now that both kiddos are in upper elementary, its time to get back to work!
This year, I am excited to work as a Special Education language arts teacher for grades 3-4.
If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to contact me, and I'll get back to you promptly.
