Summer Nights in the Library

All WES students are invited to join us for WES Summer Nights in the Library! Library nights will be held in the WES library on Thursdays (6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18,7/25) this summer from 5-7 p.m. Join us for book checkout, popsicles, giveaways and more! Hope to see you there!

New Student Registration - July 31, 2019

New student registration for Williams Elementary students will be held at Magnolia West High School on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 7 a.m - 4 p.m. and Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Registration Requirements:
Students who are 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019 can be registered to attend Kindergarten during the 2019 - 2020 school year.

Documents Required for Registration:
* Birth Certificate
* Proof of residency within district
* Current immunization record
* Proof of identification of parent or legal guardian enrolling the student
*Social Security Card (if available)

Magnolia ISD is offering weekly camps for students ages 5 - 12 during the summer months. The programs are led by MISD employees and/or teachers who are trained and attain the appropriate certifications for the programs assigned.

Meet the Teacher Night

Williams Elementary will be hosting "Meet the Teacher Night" on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Class lists will be posted outside each grade level pod and staff members will be available to help you locate your child's classroom. Transportation and food service information will also be available. Be sure to save the date on your calendar. We are looking forward to greeting the members of our 2019 - 2020 WES Mustang family!

Successful Students Come to School Every Day!

Attendance matters to your child's success! Make sure your child is at school every day. Did you know that missing just 2 days of school a month means a child misses 10% of the school year? Poor attendance can influence whether children read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade. Absenteeism and its ill effects start early. One in ten kindergarten and first grade students are chronically absent. Learning happens everyday! You must be present to learn!
